Guinea has an authority for the protection and promotion of children. In all districts and neighbourhoods there are so-called child protection officers. The long-lasting cooperation with the child protection officers is the foundation of our work.

Mamadou & Bineta has developed a training module, which we have been using since 2013 to train the state Child Protection Representatives. The participants learn to identify children in need, to take appropriate measures and to solve problems in the children’s social environment. We have trained more than 800 Child Protection Representative to date. Each subsequently trains their own staff.
