For a humanitarian project to function and develop, local knowledge and motivated fellow campaigners are needed, who are familiar with local conditions and take responsibility. Our strength is therefore the people behind Mamadou & Bineta.
Kémoko Touré is leading the Guina team, which today consists of about 20 people. For five years he was responsible for the communication at Mamadou & Bineta as well as for the contact with the authorities. He has also been trained in all aspects of child protection and knows the details about all activities. Kémoko knows the country, the culture, the problems of the children and the social conditions in Guinea. His achievements are excellent and we enjoy working with him.
Responsible for the strategic orientation and all projects is Fabienne Sylla holding the dual nationality of France and Guinea. She spends a lot of time in Guinea and has excellent local knowledge and connections. After completing her studies in Paris, Fabienne trained as a specialist in development projects and then gained experience in long stays in several crisis areas throughout the world.
Our board member Benoit Kamano grew up in Guinea and knows the problems of street and orphan children. Benoit is a dual citizen (Guinea - France), has trained as a lawyer in France and is our link between Guinea and Europa.
Over the years, we have developed good friendships and valuable partnerships in Guinea. This helps us a lot in our operations for the children and the cooperation with the population and the authorities.
